Siete años en el Tíbet, cuyo título original es Seven Years in Tibet, es una película estadounidense del género dramático rodada en 1997. Basada en el libro del alpinista austríaco Heinrich Harrer de 1953, en el que se narran las experiencias de H. Harrer en el Tíbet entre 1944 (Segunda Guerra Mundial) y 1950 (entrada del Ejército de Liberación Popular de China). Fue dirigida porJean-Jacques Annaud y contó con las actuaciones de Brad Pitt y David Thewlis. La música fue compuesta por John Williams y producida por Mandalay Entertainment Productions.

Since its 1917 debut in Milan, the play has continued to surprise people from all walks of life because of its confrontational spirit and acute satirical humor. Pirandello based the play on his story Mrs. Frola and Her Son-in-law, Mr. Ponza. A line from that short story summarizes the premise that develops Así es: ``All reality might be but a ghost, or vice versa.'' Cristobalillos Mesiánicos

Por Ernesto García. En el teatro, como en otras realidades de la vida, aparecen de cuando en cuando, los Cristobalillos Mesiánicos. Ese ser que se cree esperado por una multitud deseosa de sus grandes, históricos y profundos cambios en la vida, ideología y el arte. Un Jesús del pensamiento religioso, un Cristóbal Colón en lo marítimo y en lo imperial. En el teatro, estos seres llegan, con grandes e imponentes discursos (que ni son grandes ni imponentes), para indicar su advenimiento. Su llegada a esta tierra baldía que espera por su gran talento (reconocido solo por ellos) . Primero anuncian el paraje yermo, el “desierto cultural” de Miami, luego traen bajo el brazo la tabla de Moisés y sus nuevos mandamientos que finalmente harán que la ciudad cambié para siempre. Algunos son de una extirpe de “agitadores”, arman en unas cuantas semanas todo un movimiento que muchas veces la prensa refleja.
